Way too long and plodding to be overly enjoyable. I liked the story; there were a few twists to keep your interest. There just wasn't enough going on in many parts - it gets bogged down in building the love story and the pathos involved in Penn's character's life (which looks more like constipation on Penn's visage).
I thought Kidman did a wonderful job; Penn not so much - he's been much better in other movies.
