Although Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn are a good match for this action mystery thriller, with the exception of Catherine Keener and Sydney Pollack who, besides from acting in this film, directs the film interestingly, The Interpreter ends up becoming a film that is too long and has a weak pace and flow.
