Review of The International (2009) by Jonny C — 09 Jan 2012
A conspiracy thriller much in the vein of 2007's michael clayton. interpol agent louis salinger (clive owen) and manhattan assistant D.A. eleanor whitman (naomi watts) travel all over the world in search of evidence that can prove the illegal activities of a huge foreign bank.
worth a look for the anti-climactic shootout in NYC's guggenheim museum. otherwise there's not too much going on outside of a few intense scenes that look to heighten the drama. owen is fairly good in this one but watts' character is really just a waste.
not a bad flick, it's just not great...
