Review of The International (2009) by Matt M — 11 Feb 2013
An overlooked thriller that, despite being based on scandals from the '80s and '90s, is still sadly relevant, what with the HSBC story having just broken a few months ago. I enjoy watching Clive Owen in tortured-soul-cop mode, and this movie certainly doesn't skimp on that.
I only wish the ending had been a bit less frustrating.
