Review of The Intern (2015) by Carisa H — 03 Jun 2016
De Niro was fantastic as Ben Whittaker, known for roles that inquire intense performances, De Niro shows range as a mild mannered, emotionally in-tuned, borderline feminist. The film was able to capture the new Brooklyn landscape without letting the Hipsterfication of neighborhoods like Park Slope get in the way of telling this odd-couple story.
Anders Holm and Adam Devine from Comedy Central's 'Workaholics' stand out in their supporting roles. It was nice see them share the screen with a legend such as De Niro. Devine played true to his sophmoric character that he's most known for playing, whIle Holm took on a more serious and in depth role.
