Diabolical romantic non-drama, written and directed by Nancy Meyers, so all the blame rests with her. De Niro has his own reasons for lining up these turkeys. His is the only decent performance, trying to extract pathos and subtlety where there is none.
Anne Hathaway is incredibly irritating. A real clunker.
