Review of The Intern (2015) by Shiftworker — 21 Aug 2016
The always emotional Anne Hathaway plays a boss who tries to hides her weaknesses. De Niro plays wise old man. No surprises, just gentle emotional exercise through slight tugs at your heart-strings. Parts give the impression of having been written to provoke very mild amusement.
I didn't laugh, but I did stay awake all the way through, despite quite a big dinner.
