Review of The Intern (2010) by Miranda Z — 19 Mar 2016
Alright, let's be honest - there was some huge pandering to the millenials (and even centennials) here ... and I'm totally fine with that, because I am that audience. Does this rely too much on stereotypes without poking enough fun at them? Oh, yes.
But is it quirky and charming (Hathaway is simply quaint) and sentimental? Oh, yes. It ends a bit abruptly, but nicely, with a symbolic change in pace for Hathaway's character.
