Review of The Intern (2010) by Ian G — 19 Dec 2015
The feel good new business model old people and working females can lead full lives film of the year goes to. Defintely escapist and ideal and doesnt show a lot of the bumps along the way, but the film strictly succeeds on another Hollywood trope being the likability of the leads in this case the gentlemenly senior in Robert Deniro and the eager if wound up Anne Hathaway who both deliver above the bar performances and dimension to the roles they were given.
Probably will rank along side or at least close to Devil Wears Prada where the polish and the acting brings up a film and is escapist enough to check realism at the door and you ride along on the journey which works for this one.
Surprisingly enjoyable,.
