Review of The Insider (1999) by Chad L — 10 Nov 2012
It comes as a shock considering Michael Mann (one of my personal favourite directors, and a huge influence on me as a filmmaker), whilst not the most consistent director in the world, managed to transfer his signature style from gritty, action-packed epics like Heat and Last of the Mohicans to a true-life, corporate thriller with incredible performances from every actor involved and unbelievably good editing and camerawork.
A classic. He should do more films like this.
