Review of The Insider (1999) by Lyn G — 21 Jan 2010
Really good movie, intense and fast paced, yet I cannot get past Michael Mann's melodrama. If he would tone down the synthesizers and over the top pretense, his movies would be awesome. He needs a minimalist as an editor, the perfect foil to his extreme sentimentality.
