Review of The Insider (1999) by Kevin K — 30 Mar 2010
I tend to go back and forth trying to decide whether The Insider or Heat is Michael Mann's greatest masterpiece. Right now, I'm more inclined towards The Insider. The film is absolutely flawless in every way, and is as resonant and poignant today as it was 11 years ago.
It is literally a perfect film.
