Review of The Innkeepers (2011) by Ryan J — 15 Feb 2013
I am enjoying watching Ti West's films as he is becoming a great indie horror film maker. This film sees two hotel workers become part time ghost hunters in the dying days of the "Inn" as it is about to be closed down.
They are looking for a certain ghost who is supposed to roam the halls. Light humour throughout in the banter between the two staff members and the odd guest that frequents leads to a quite unnerving final 20-30 minutes.
Like his previous House of the Devil this is another slow burner that reveals little until it really needs to. I like it. Patience is needed.
