Sincerely... I'm disappointed I expected much more from the film... especially after reading the book-script and knowing that Auster is also the director,... the film doesn't communicate the magic of the story.
Does it mean that some stories just work on paper? I think so and I agree with Serdar, sadly.
Good David Thewlis's performance but I'll have to see Kieslowski's film to convince myself why P.Auster chose Irène Jacob.
