A quirky off beat movie based on a true life story of Mark Whiteacre, a whistle-blower at ADM. As the FBI learns more about price fixing at ADM, Whiteacre's stories become more and more elaborate and the Feds have trouble telling what is the truth and what isn't.
Whiteacre turns ot to be guilty of a few crimes himself, including embezzling funds from ADM. Meanwhile, Whiteacre envisions himself as a spy and thinks after everything is over he'll get a promotion at ADM for setting things right.
Matt Damon's performance is brillant, but the film may not be to everyone's taste as it's not your typical comedy, but it's worth watching once for everyone just for Matt Damon's performance and those who like subtle quirky comedies.
