Review of The Informant! (2009) by Hoss R — 15 Jul 2012
Matt Damon is really the under taker in Hollywood. He presents himself as the average man who can only offer average acting skills, but under that layered misconseption you find modesty and insightfulness. Once again Damon proves to be at the top of his game.
The Informant is complex, unscaled mediocrity that battles the moral attitudes of peoples beliefs. Your instant reaction is to follow a story that's been recycled too many times. Surprisngly The Informant takes a different turn, by differentiating the snitch as a confused, two faced, unstable informant. The ending was a wonderful twist that I never saw coming. Although the answers and clues are right at your nose from scene 1 we only see what we choose to see. Not what's really happening.
