Review of The Informant (2008) by Isabelle W — 23 Jul 2012
Not super-hilarious but well made and well acted, "The Informant!" may not be the best movie but it is an interesting example of fine film-making. Steven Soderbergh, with the help of a porky, douchy Matt Damon, turns what could have been "The Insider 2" into a tragically hilarious comedy-thriller.
Mark Whitacre is on one hand a sad, greedy man and a chronic liar, and on the other the one man bold enough to blow open a world-wide corporate conspiracy.
