Review of The Infiltrator (2016) by Steven G — 06 Aug 2016
Bryan Cranston post-Breaking Bad is now post-code Edward G. Robinson. When the Production Code made portraying gangsters as anti-heroes immoral, the studios cast their actors as cops/feds infiltrating the crime world.
Now, "Walter White" returns in a story of an undercover customs agent who brings down the Medellin cartel. Loose cannon sidekick, check. Wife, son, daughter, check. Guy's face exploding, check.
