Review of The Infiltrator (2016) by Paully A — 29 Dec 2017
Had potential but ultimately disappoints.
Commence spoilers:
The whole movie hinges on the "close relationship" that Bob Mazur builds while undercover, but unfortunately that is less than believable, in part due to poor, shallow character development. Furthermore, why is Bob always bringing all his family into harm's way? And what's the deal with that random, inane assassination at the club? At the end you don't even care about the question of potential infidelity because you don't care much about the characters themselves, even if you are rooting for them.
