Review of The Infiltrator (2016) by Matt L — 21 May 2017
This low budget film (less than $50 million) was a box office flop, but when you see it you immediately recognize why. There's a significant character in the film who is gay and is negatively portrayed.
Who could ever endorse that sort of a film today, even if it was factually accurate? Anyway, once you realize that was the, um, kiss of death for the film, then you realize that's well made. If you liked Donnie Brasco and Pacino's Scarface, you will enjoy this film.
