Review of The Infidel (2010) by Israel R — 04 Dec 2010
This movie is funny and outrageous, with many hilarious moments. Djalili and Schiff are great comedians with terrific timing. They work together really well and never lose the audience. Mix influences from early Woody Allen, Richard Pryor, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Bollywood, stir, and you've got the Infidel.
The movie may be predictable, but it's never sappy or preachy.
