Review of The Incredibles (2004) by Jake C — 13 Jun 2018
Watching this for the first time since seeing it in theaters to prep for the sequel, it's incredible (sorry!) how many parts remained familiar while still feeling fresh. Warm-hearted, earnest, and straightforward, made special not by its technical prowess or powerhouse performances, but by the smaller details, the quiet and thoughtful jokes that have nicely aged along with the audience.
