Review of The Incredibles (2004) by Cameron J — 07 May 2013
The Incredibles is, without a doubt, my favorite Pixar movie. They're all great, but the Incredibles is the most human yet still manages to retain the wonder and excitement of the rest of Pixar's greats.
The voice acting is absolutely superb, and the themes are down-to-earth and accessible. It's a family movie that doesn't condescend and is filled with laughs and wondrous visual spectacles throughout.
What's more, it's a homage to many other films yet still manages to have its own unique plot and message. It's full of brilliant character development and the dialogue is phenomenal. One of my favorite animated films of all time.
