I genuinely believe this is Pixar's greatest movie. I loved this movie at eight years old and I still love it today. It's great that early in their career, Pixar strayed from regurgitating the same movie again and again (What if bugs had feelings? What if toys had feelings? What if cars had feelings?) and made a movie about PEOPLE, something (as right now, at least) I don't believe they're replicated, (unless you count Brave, which I haven't seen) and made a story about humans interacting and an all-around great superhero movie.

If this movie was life action, which could've worked, although I must digress that the cartoonish character designs of say, Edna or Syndrome definitely made the film very enjoyable. Bob Parr is such a relatable character having a mid-life crisis, wants to be happy, but wants his wife and kids to have a life and support them and loves them while he longs for the glory days of Mr.

Incredible... like how can someone not be intrigued by that? Yeah, maybe somethings in retrospect don't make sense (What the hell is Kronos??? Or did I miss something), but it's a very mature step for Pixar, and I really wish they made more movies like this instead of following up this movie with Cars.

... (Not a huge, huge Pixar fan myself).
