Review of The Incredible Jessica James (2017) by Acied W — 14 May 2018

A bland, tepid, luke-warm, over baked piece of shit movie. The fact it's been praised and carries Sundance nomination acclaim and high ratings on sites like these alarm me to no end. If we're going to christen movies like these as anything deserving of merit, where are we hurtling towards ffs.

Horribly unfunny, Straight jacketed to a garbage, throughly over-written script that relies on snarky dialogue and one-liners to advance virtually every scene, each one lasting 8-10 mins longer than they have even business needing to.

The musical score is completely suffocating, carpeting nearly every second of this movie and telegraphing every emotional cue and directive the audience is required to feel. Such an endless boring goddamn slog this movie.
