Calling an action flick such as this one "big, loud and dumb" has become a pathetic cliche, but it's just so very apt in this case. If you want a summer action flick with explosions, explosions and more explosions, this film is for you.
If you had hoped for a more engaging comic book adaptation more in keeping with Marvel's other (and far superior) summer offering, "Iron Man" you will be disappointed.
