Review of The Incredible Hulk (2008) by Mike S — 15 Jan 2014
Not my favourite character from Marvel, and despite how well he works in The Avengers, I took a long time to get around to watching this one. So much better than Hulk in 2003, Norton is solid in the role and the film is grittier than most of the other Marvel films, but as a result, it doesn't really feel connected to the Avengers. Norton being the Hulk probably adds to that problem.
The rest of the cast is good, however, I wasn't particularly fond of the Abomination, which looked wrong and seeing the two CGI monsters fight didn't finish the film in a way that satisfied me.
