Review of The Incredible Hulk (2008) by Christina Z — 12 Apr 2015
A better Hulk movie, and a better movie overall, compared to Ang Lee's Hulk. The whole movie, for the most part, is very well structured up until the Harlem showdown, which, while being awesome to watch, just felt a little too out of place and rushed.
Especially, due to the very quick transformation of Blonsky into The Abomination. But, everything else was very well done with a cool connection to Iron Man with a cameo of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark as well as a really surprising early reference to Captain America.
Plus, as someone who grew up watching reruns of The Incredible Hulk show, I really loved all of the little references to the show.
