Review of The Incredible Hulk (2008) by Bardia M — 02 Jan 2013
This movie is so underrated and to that I ask why? It has a compelling story that keeps you fascinated and craving for more. Craig Armstrong's soundtrack is magnificent and perfectly integrated with the action.
The flow of a movie is very important; it can either excite an audience or put them to sleep, and in The Incredible Hulk, I never once felt exhausted or fatigued. The CGI looks incredible, especially in the final fight scene.
The one flaw in this movie was the characters. Edward Norton was brilliant as Bruce Banner and Tim Roth played a badass villain, but that's about it. Liv Tyler was pretty likable as Betty Ross, but had no depth or development.
Same goes for William Hurt's character as the General. Apart from some dull characters, this movie delivered in every other category and can therefore be safely named as a great comic book movie.
