Review of The Incredible Hulk (2008) by Brandizzle B — 26 Apr 2016
"I have an idea, lets cast the guy from fight club, as Hulk, get the guy from pulp fiction to be the bad guy, put $0 into a script and everything into slurpee adds, and then team up with the marvel universe to have this tie into avengers" This is how the universal group text probably went when discussing this film.
Norton is an A lister in a B listers film. not sure what Tyler is doing in this movie, and the dialog reads like something from fan fic, basically everything good about the first hulk movie got manhandled in this movie.
dont get me wrong though there are some high points in the film, I like the transisition they did from the original to this one, and dont say the ang lee hulk is not part of this saga because it is! drown yourself in hulk's slurpee if you say it isnt.
Abomanation looks really legit, and the Harlem showdown is a highlite in the marvel phase 1. but these points are not enough to make it the type of ;andmarks that Hulk and Iron Man were.
