Review of The Incredible Hulk (2008) by Scarlisle — 23 Sep 2016
Louis Leterrier presents us with a very well-handled, respected version of the Bruce Banner we all know and love. The film is an overall fun experience, however, it suffers from very cringeworthy acting by Liv Tyler, which in turn makes the romance between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross very cringeworthy as well.
The viewer cannot help but think the film had much more potential when it's over. The Incredible Hulk, to be quite honest, probably deserves an overall score of a 7, but I myself have always been a fan before being a critic, and The Incredible Hulk delivers just enough for me to not only give the film an overall score of 8, but also purchase the film of Blu-Ray.
