Review of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) by Ian G — 26 Aug 2013
A groan full and bordering on good taste comedy for the most part that somehow was able to assemble a gaggle of comedians from the Almighty series to follow the track of Vegas magicians vying to stay relevent in modern performing.
Alda and Wilde seem to be the only ones able to make some semblance of sympathetic characters to root for as the mentor and assistant for the unsympathetic egotist that Carrell plays and the yokell friend of Buscemi.
All this plus a first time film director with a lot of tv direction credits of series of notes who seems to be unable to corale the humour and timing for true laughs. Truely one of the worst from 2013.
