Review of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) by Andy S — 24 Nov 2013

This is a cute movie, and has a great cast, but plenty of flaws. Not the least of which is that it's hard to tell whether Steve Carell came up with an original role, or if he's just playing a Vegas version of Ron Burgundy.

It was fun to see Jim Carrey again, but they set up a point, and then cop out on it at the end. Funny, I remember Ben Stiller saying something like that in the special features for Dodgeball. This movie is fun, but for a funnier Carrell/Carrey collaboration, save $4 and watch Bruce Almighty.

Grade C+.
