Review of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) by Matthew F. J — 09 Feb 2014

This film has a very interesting concept at it's core & some very decent actors in it but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the massive lack of art direction, a huge lack of inspiration & a terribly lazy actors direction! Carrel & Carrey are unleashed , going for atrocious exaggeration & overacting thinking this is going to make us laugh a lot!? Well guys it's all about the right measure with humor and here you are definitely running the film into the ground by over doing it once again.

... When will the studio executives & the film directors of this century understand that less is more with humor? Pulling faces ain't a solution for laugh you know guys! make a smarter pitch & some much more decent dialogues & the we will see.

... but I guess they still underestimate the audience & continue to think what makes people laugh is farting , burping and pulling faces.... oh my wake the fuck up! this is 2013.... get out of Hollywood and see the world evolve because seriously this is exactly the kind of film that waste a good potential and will stop customers to go to the movies one day.

... paying $10 bucks for such a shit! on that one I almost want to encourage piracy....and guys this is a pretty huge statement coming from a guy who spend at least 10 night per month @ the movies....
