The movies greatest strength is its cast, but it went totally unutilized. Carrell is a master of dead pan, but the movie instead relied on gimmicky gags and ridiculous magic tricks. It all builds up to the dumbest climax in recent memory, but the cast is charming enough to at least makes the movie bearable.
