Review of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) by Shane D — 28 Jun 2014

Anything starring Steve Carell is given an automatic head start. He is well loved, and deservingly so. Critically panned and largely avoided by audiences, this film came and went without too much fuss, which is a shame because at it's core its actually quite lovely.

Where it might actually fall flat as the outrageous comedy it's pitched as being, as a sweet tale of friendship it works. Some great faithful performances from all involved help greatly. Not something you're likely to revisit, but not a waste of time at all.
