The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is mildly entertaining and funny; Carell and Carey do appear to exhaust their fair share of effort alongside a stifled Steve Buscemi, but are directed to a lame, unfulfilling, and quite literally impossible climax, and until then, all seems like dust in the wind; a pointless illusion no one will ever care to second guess.
