Review of The Imposter (2012) by Erik H — 08 Sep 2012
A stylish documentary that tells a fascinating story. This story could only be done as a documentary, because if Hollywood had made a dramatization of it, the plot would be attacked for implausibility.
But this all really happened...and is incredible. That said...It also feels like something that could have been covered on a Primetime Mystery hour. It makes great use of its narrator, who you can't help but root for, despite his deviousness.
