Review of The Imposter (2012) by Barry Thomas A — 29 Sep 2012
Not only is "The Imposter" really creepy, the fact that both the FBI and the family fell for the story and allowed this guy who is wanted by Interpol and has an international arrest warrant against him, into America at face value, was also given an American passport without question, extremely scary.
If it were not for a trama psychiatrist informing the FBI that this guy is not who he says he is because he didn't act like he had been tortured and raped, he would still be running around America a free man getting up to all sorts of things.
The biggest question of all, why was the family so willing to accept this guy as their son, even turning hostile towards the FBI after being given the warning that this guy is not their son, what are they hiding by willingly taking in a complete stranger?
