Review of The Imposter (2012) by Anthony C — 21 Jan 2013
My jaw literally hung open for a long section of The Imposter. Without a doubt it has taken the place of Catfish as the most unpredictable and shocking documentary about human behavior.
I've also never seen a documentary made with such cinematic style. The filmmakers are extremely lucky to have gotten the person who guides us through the story because without him the story would not exist and the film would not be as great as it is.
Unlike Catfish, by the end of The Imposter I wasn't left questioning the reality of what was presented to us and like Catfish, it would be a serious crime to say anything else about The Imposter to someone who hasn't seen it. So go just watch it as soon as you can.
