Review of The Imposter (2012) by Nick P — 18 Mar 2013
What starts off as a straight forward tale about a French-man in Spain impersonating a missing American boy expands into a more intriguing piece involving the police, FBI, and the boy's family. Still the pacing was a bit slow, scenes filmed to look like they were shot on one day are obviously shot days apart, and the shattering twists I was anticipating never appeared.
The most interesting part of the movie takes place in one brief scene towards the end of the film but never elaborated on.
