Review of The Imposter (2012) by Jim L — 16 Jul 2013
I was lucky enough to see this movie at SXSW when it premiered. I was blown away! I believe The Imposter is a brilliant film and is the start of a trend in movie making. There are movies out there, such as Compliance and The Imposter, that are dark but also tell an amazing story that you would never believe to be true.
These 'docudrama' type films tell a true story but less with news type clips, and with more drama and compelling content. I met the director (Bart Layton) and he was a very nice guy and I am looking forward to seeing what films he has in his future.
