Review of The Impossible (2012) by Maxx D — 29 Jul 2015
I don't know quit what it was that made me, a man who has a sizable phobia of deep water, want to watch The Impossible but I'm very glad I did. The whole thing is extremely poignant given that it's based on the true story of an actual family and I don't mind admitting that I basically cried my way through the whole thing, both sad and happy tears.
The 'huge scary wave' section of the movie that I was worried about is over within the first 15 minutes and then you are left with a brilliantly paced drama that will keep you engaged from start to end.
Excellent...but have tissues to hand.
