Review of The Importance of Being Earnest (2002) by Michael B — 26 Aug 2007
While Rupert Everett is highly watchable none of the other cast members seem able to keep up. Even usually wonderful Judy Dench is left behind as she correctly plays it cold but forgets to put the character into her part.
If you want to watch this film watch the 1952 version.
