Review of The Immortalists (2014) by Sarah G — 29 Nov 2014
A beautifully thought-provoking film supported by gorgeous cinematography and an understated but wonderfully effective score. Remarkably fascinating in its juxtaposition of two fundamentally different men on the same quest, this film is sure to spark introspection and discussion of both a philosophical and scientific nature.
Directors David Alvarado and Jason Sussberg have done a fantastic job presenting this often-polarizing subject matter in a way that causes viewers to look inward, reflecting upon an age-old debate: is immortality attainable? And if so, would we truly want it for ourselves?
