Review of The Immortal Story (1968) by Ted W — 08 Jun 2013
I caught this on TCM and wasn't sure what to make of it at first. It's not the typical Wellesian tricks and quick editing. In fact, the story itself is atypical Welles. Of any filmmaker this reminds me most of Woody Allen at his most whimsical fantasy.
And Jeanne Moreau is a treat for the eyes as always.
