History has told many interesting stories regarding the mass mass migration of Europeans to America through Ellis Island one hundred years ago but is a subject that film rarely explored until now. The Immigrant tells of the struggle of one immigrant and her determination to succeed in the New World.
Both acting and story-telling are superb. (6-8-14).
