Review of The Immigrant (1917) by James H — 16 Aug 2009
A funny and well done Chaplin short. Charlie Chaplin does some pretty clever gags in this one, one of my favorite being the rocking ship gag, where Chaplin is sliding all over the floor of the cafeteria area on deck, running into people and causing a ruckus.
I also enjoyed the cute little love story between the tramp and his lady companion. It was a cute little sub plot that made me all warm and fuzzy inside.
