Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Brian B — 28 Mar 2017
I'm not sure hoe close this is the truth (a quick perusal of the Wiki page seems to imply they've taken a fair chunk of creative licence) buy my, I really, really enjoyed this film. Cumberbatch brings a believable fully fleshed Turing to the screen and one who you feel you understand his motivations and quirks fully.
Knightley is also excellent and their touching relationship is the film's real strength without (as some have criticised) in any way trying to hide away from his sexuality. It's just a really engrossing and moving film, I couldn't recommend it enough.
