Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Ydnar4 — 05 Mar 2015
The Imitation Game is one of the strongest films of this year, mostly based on the performance of Benedict Cumberbatch, who may be the biggest and busiest actors in the world right now. Cumberbatch may have easily won an Oscar this year if it wasn't the close race that it was.
Alan Turing is one of the most important men to ever walk the Earth but really before this film most people would have been unaware of his achievements. Cumberbatch does an incredible job of portraying such a complex and genius character and he develops beautifully throughout the movie.
Keira Knightley also has one of the best female performances of 2014 with this role. The Imitation Game is a film that can be enjoyed by any adult and it will have to spread knowledge about Alan Turing's genius.
